The nature house is located just outside the town of Les Forges in the municipality of Stoumont, Province of Liege (Liège), just ten minutes from the freeway E25 (verl. A2 A'dam-Maastricht). The house is arranged as a normal residence, suitable for up to six people. On the ground floor is a spacious living room (+/- 30 m2), consisting of a dining area and a sitting area with fireplace. Furthermore, there is a spacious kitchen, separated from the living room, with full cooking equipment and crockery. Through the kitchen there is direct access to the terrace and the side garden. The bathroom has a bathtub. On the second floor there are three bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, one bedroom with a single bed, and another with a double and a single bed. The last bedroom also has a sink. Comforters and pillows are provided.
Nature and surroundings
At the back of the nature house is another large garden with lots of privacy, which turns into forest at the back. This garden is very suitable as a sunbathing area and wonderfully quiet. Also, the garden, and especially the surrounding forest, is fun for children to play in. For a short walk one can walk straight into the forest. Although the house is right on a through road, with an average of less than a few cars per hour, you don't have to expect much noise from this. You are in the middle of nature, as the Lienne river valley is a protected nature reserve, consisting of creek grasslands and wooded hillsides. The environment is therefore very quiet, and with the sound of the babbling water of the little river Lienne in the background, you can sleep peacefully at night (or during the day). The immediate surroundings lend themselves mainly to outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing or horseback riding (horses can be rented in the area)
