A single yurt set in 16 HA of woodland, off grid with its own independent solar power supply. Access is by foot and the yurt is private & quite with its own facilities. A Nature house with no wifi & limited mobile phone signal it is a perfect place to disconnect from the modern world , meditate or simply enjoy the peace and quite. If you travel by public transport we can pick you up from Graus , Barbastro or Monzon but we do charge for this.please enquire. The yurt is a traditional & hand built by Uzbek craftspeople.containing one double sofa bed & two individual folding chair beds solar powerd lighting & sockets for charging small devices With a cool outside kitchen & shower , terrace & compost toilet the site has everything you need for a comfortable , private stay. Bedding is provided please bring your own towels. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets & we do not recommend that families with children under the age of 6 visit
Nature and surroundings
For those who want a more active holiday the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities from rafting , canyoning ,kayaking , cycling or rock climbing. Bird watching , horse riding or swimming in rivers and lakes are all nearby. The yurt is situated 15km from the town of Graus and 100km from Huesca. Public transport is available as far as Graus and then the owners can pick you up. Guests can also be collected from Barbastro or Monzon for a small charge. Detailed directions will be provided upon booking. There is plenty to explore on foot, from abandoned villages and country lanes to river paths and woodland full of wildlife like foxes, wild boar and birds of prey.15 KM away is the district capital of Graus which is known for its architecture and cultural events, and further afield you will find the rugged national park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido and the mountains of Maladeta and the Sierra de Guara. Make sure you enjoy some locally produced food and wine.
