Nature house in Tinos

Above a ravine, our nature house offers breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea overlooking the lush sunken olive & mulberry orchard. The cottage is a studio style open plan with 1 queen size bed, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom and has a split level with 2 single mattresses on the 2nd floor. Please note: the cottage is not suitable for children under the age of eight because of the split-level. Minimalistic, modern style with traditional features. The nature house has a large pergola with a shaded dining area with outdoor furniture to relax, in the private garden. The nature house works 100% off the grid with power generated by a series of solar panels and stored in batteries. The water comes from large rainwater tanks. Hot water and stove are used propane. Thick stone walls including additional wall insulation combined with double glazing energy efficient windows and doors ensure a pleasant temperature throughout the day without the need for air conditioning.

Tinos is the third largest island of the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea. Enjoy the rolling hills, the sustainable villages and friendly villagers, the miraculous icons, the wealth of natural beauty, the artistic wealth of the painters, sculptors and their works, the dovecotes and the more than 700 enchanting churches scattered throughout the island. Activities such as mountaineering, trail walking, swimming, surfing (in strong winds) and other board sports, beach volleyball, to name but a few. Come and talk to nature. For those who enjoy hiking, there is a hiking trails network that covers more than 150 kilometers across the island. the unique traditional villages and the famous marble quarries. The old hiking trails, most of which are well signposted, give access to all the unexplored sides of the island: the impressive geological formations. Our nature house is just a few minutes' walk from the T2 footpath.
