In the middle of Burgundy on the edge of the Morvan nature reserve in a small hamlet is this nature house at the end of a dead end road. It is attached to the house and directly on the water. It has its own covered cozy terrace with beautiful views over the lake. You can swim in it (though it has a bottom with a lot of natural silt), fish or sail with the canoe or raft. The small house has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, suitable for 2 to 4 people. The beds are made upon arrival. A wonderful place to unwind. Further on the property there is a second cottage. In the common playground there is a trampoline, swing and stretching pole and in our barn there is a table tennis table and various outdoor toys.
Nature and surroundings
Surrounding the property are the hills and meadows of Mulot with its characteristic Charolais cows. Hiking, biking and bird watching can be done right from the front door. In the private lake swim ducks, carp, you can see different species of herons fishing and the kingfisher passes by every day. Behind the cottage is our food forest under construction. In Tazilly (1.5 km) is a small convenience store where bread can be ordered. 5 km away is the regional town of Luzy with stores, cafes and restaurants. Further afield, Bibracte, Autun, Moulins and Beaune offer a wealth of history and architectural beauty. In the Morvan, with its large lakes, you can make beautiful hiking and mountain bike trips.
