The nature house is in the annex of our home. There is no kitchen, and no cooking is allowed with cookware you bring yourself, inside or outside. But we do have: a microwave (so heating up is possible), mini-fridge, dishes and cutlery. And, of course, a kettle and a Nespresso machine. There are also plenty of (takeaway) restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The dishes will be done for you! In front of the cottage is a private terrace, with wide and unobstructed views over the fields. Here there is sun until about 3 p.m. in summer. On the ground floor is a sitting room (4x3 m²) with dining table, storage space, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the closet are books for watching and reading and games so you don't have to miss the TV.... Via the stairs you get to the bed (160 x 200m), which you can -just- walk around. This can be made up as desired with a double comforter or 2 single comforters. Note: the upper staircase is short, so unfortunately less suitable for people who are insecure or have poor mobility.

The nature house is located on a beautiful, green, winding and dead-end dyke road, with vistas across the fields. The 'entrance' to this road does not allow vehicles wider and/or higher than 2.20m! From your private terrace you can experience nature: watch the hares, water, and birds of prey, and try to spot deer. Listen to the frog concerts and the rustling of the poplars.... And at night, under a huge starry sky, the nightingale in the bushes. Hank has several places to eat, a supermarket and a marina, where you can rent a boat to take into the Biesbosch. There are also several hiking areas in the area (including Loonse and Drunense Dunes, forests near Oosterhout), and many bicycle routes. You can charge your bike overnight (with plug). To visit there are beautiful fortified towns and fortifications (New Dutch Waterline). Larger cities are easily accessible by highway: Breda 25 minutes, Den Bosch 35, Rotterdam and Utrecht 45 minutes.
