Six person Finnish bungalow comfortably furnished for a wonderful vacation in the woods. Equipped with underfloor heating throughout the bungalow, new plumbing and in the living room a cozy wood stove in the living area, a dining area with open kitchen including combination microwave / oven and dishwasher. In the kitchen you can cook on a 4-burner gas stove. In the living area there is a nice couch for reading a book, lazing around or staring at the fire from the fireplace. There are three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two bedrooms with two single box springs each. Furniture gets a second life with us. This is more durable than new furniture. You have your own terrace and a large garden. Cosy and warm inside by the fireplace or outside on the terrace or in the garden. Please note that in the period from 1 November to 1 April, prices do not include gas consumption for heating and any cooking.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a dirt road in the woods outside Otterlo, on a small-scale vacation park. You walk from your cottage directly into forests and heathland and Nature Reserve De Zanding. National Park De Hoge Veluwe is 1500 meters away, Nature Reserve the Planken Wambuis just as much the other way. There is a playground for children and various bicycles/skelters may be used. Also fun: an exciting scavenger hunt or collecting stamps for the helper farmer diploma. During your stay in this Nature House you can use the facilities of the small-scale vacation park. There is a nice petting zoo where the animals are fed every day, a playground and a terrace where coffee/tea with apple pie is served from Monday to Saturday. You can also use the media library with free loan of books, DVDs and games. In the reception also a store selling organic dry goods, ice cream and vegetarian butcher products.
