This special, nature house was completely renovated last spring. And is situated outside the park situated in its own beautiful forest, in the middle of an ancient rolling nature reserve that used to be heathland. This bungalow features: A detached sauna, entrance, living room with sitting area and dining table, open kitchen, bathroom with shower and sink, separate toilet (both upstairs and downstairs), plenty of privacy around the cottage, patio cover, covered bicycle storage with electrical outlets and private parking. Also present, a combi-oven, 5 zones induction hob, Quooker faucet, dishwasher, Filter&cups coffee makers flat screen TV, DVD player, audio and garden/terrace furniture with parasol. Next to the cottage is Twents shed with charging points for bikes.
Nature and surroundings
The estate where this cottage is situated is an old farmstead, located in an ancient moraine area, near the historic town of Ootmarsum in Twente. The Estate is 335 hectares and has stately avenues with centuries-old trees. Small fields with corn full of cornflowers are interspersed with babbling brooks, which run through flowering stream valleys and heathlands. Rare flowers and plants are found, as well as the kingfisher, green-clawed warbler and five species of woodpeckers. You can also encounter several burial mounds and traces of World War II. For walking and cycling there are many possibilities. We have compiled several walking and cycling routes for you, which you can pick up for free at our reception.
