This ancient residence is located within the walls of the Aldobrandesque castle in a small medieval border. It offers finely restored rooms respecting the original structure and materials, stone, wood and terracotta. Arranged on two levels, with 2 fireplaces, 2 bathrooms and a beautiful kitchen complete with all accessories. In addition to the main entrance from the beautiful loggia, from the ground floor there is access to the outdoor gardens, where you can eat and rest in total privacy, enjoying the spectacular view that from the Albegna Gorges reaches the Argentario sea. The nature house is completely available to guests.
Nature and surroundings
Nature house is located in Rocchette di Fazio, a medieval village nestled in the spectacular nature of the WWF Bosco di Rocconi reserve, overlooking the limestone cliff of the Albegna River Gorge. Several nature trekking trails, with and without a guide, depart from the hamlet, and it is possible to visit the CERM Centro Recupero Rapaci Minaciati (Center for the Recovery of Threatened Raptors), which organizes guided tours. For those who love thermal waters, the splendid TERME DI SATURNIA can be reached in 10 min. by car. For mountain lovers it is possible to reach MONTE AMIATA with 30 min. Nearby are numerous ETRUSCAN ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES and ancient medieval sites such as Sovana, Pitigliano and Sorano.
