Nature house in Joppe

What a fantastic place and what a view and so spacious and tastefully decorated! Is what we very often hear when guests arrive at the Barn Owl. Through a private access road through the woods you will reach this detached, hidden nature house on a property of 3.5ha. Here you enter your own world where you are greeted by an orchestra of birds. Black, green and spotted woodpeckers fly in and out, several owls and buzzards nest here and also hares, badgers, stone martens and deer take care of their offspring here. Even the fox occasionally shows itself. In short, unwind here is easy. The very spacious house has a large kitchen with dining area for 6 people and a spacious, comfortable seating area. You look through all the windows and from the veranda into nature. Around the house you walk freely: there is no one to see you. Next to the house there is only a former stable which serves as a storage room. The bedroom, also on the ground floor, has a comfortable box spring 180x200.

At the end of the driveway, hidden behind bushes and against the edge of a private forest of Scots pines and oaks lies the Long-eared Owl. Chickens run free on the property and our flock of primal sheep can be seen from the house. There is plenty of space around the house, you can sit wherever you want and your view is different every time. Outside you can enjoy the sun in front of the house on the south, in the hammock in shade in the woods or on the porch nice and sheltered enjoying the evening sun. From the house you can walk around the estate: along the mowed paths through the tall grass, past the primal sheep and around the forest. There is much to do in the immediate vicinity: nature reserve the Gorsselse Hei is within walking distance; you bike or MTB tour starts at the door; Gorssel with many restaurants and museum More and the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are within cycling distance. At the house is ample parking, you park your bike in the barn and the bus stop towards Borculo and Deventer is 400m walking distance.
