Nature house in Wellseind

Between the fortified town of Zaltbommel, located in the Bommelerwaard and the Brabant capital Den Bosch, lies in the middle of river country on the Wellseindsedijk in Well (Gelderland) the house (breakfast possible on request on the spot) where you can also stay longer. You rent the studio downstairs. The house consists of two separate studios to rent with private entrance. This allows you absolute privacy. You have a view of the Afgedamde Maas. Surrounded by meadows, you imagine yourself in the middle of nature. The studios have a private terrace with electric pergola and jetty with swimming, fishing and water sports facilities. The nature cottage is very suitable if you are looking for peace and quiet or a retreat. The cottage is located on the route of the pilgrims' path between Amsterdam and Den Bosch. More advantageous for stays longer than 6 nights. The cottage including terrace is non-smoking. Please respect that.

The nature cottage is surrounded by floodplains. From your nature cottage with riverside terrace you can spot birds and enjoy the beautiful river landscape, feeling at one with nature. The nature cottage has a private jetty. Just cross the bridge over the creek, and you have this place at your disposal. It is possible to swim, fish, boat and by arrangement a boat can be moored. We have 2 kayaks that you may use. If it wants to freeze solid you can skate here in the winter. In the vicinity are beautiful hiking trails. The cottage is located between 2 wooden shoes paths (the pioneer path and the Hamarita path), which lead along the most beautiful spots of the Bommelerwaard. In the Bommelerwaard there are even more wooden shoe paths: The Alemschepad, Nywelepad and the Zandslagenpad. For cyclists, the river area with its dikes is excellent.
