Nature and surroundings
The Fersental Valley is located around 25 kilometers east of the provincial capital of Trento. The mountain valley is framed by the Lagorai Mountains, the longest continuous mountain range in Trentino at 70 kilometers as the crow flies. The valley is known for its old Bavarian dialect, its rich flora and fauna, its traditional inhabitants and its pleasant climate. In three municipalities in the valley, the dialect language, Bersntoleric, a protected minority language that has remained unchanged for over 700 years, is still spoken by around 800 people. The Fersental is one of the southernmost German-speaking language islands in the Alpine region. Redefine time in one of the most pristine valleys in Trentino. Many hiking and leisure opportunities await you from the hut, in the Fersental Valley and in Trentino in the midst of unspoilt and enchanting nature in the land of the rugged Dolomites in a cozy historic mountain hut.
