This 5 person nature house is located completely free in the woods of Otterlo. Finnish bungalow with a cozy wood stove in the living area, dining area with open kitchen and combi microwave/oven. Cooking on 4 burner induction plate. There are 3 bedrooms one with a double bed, one with twin beds and a bedroom with a single bed. Fully floor heated. Bathroom with large shower, toilet and sink. Furniture gets a second life with us. This is more durable than new furniture. During your stay you can use the facilities of the small-scale vacation park. There is a nice petting zoo, a playground and a terrace where from Monday to Saturday 9:30-12:00 coffee/tea with apple pie is served. You can also use the media library with free loan of books, DVDs and games. In the reception there is a store selling organic products. In the period from November 1 to April 1, prices do not include gas consumption for heating and cooking.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the Karweg, a dirt road in the woods outside Otterlo on a small vacation park. You walk from your cottage directly into forests and heathland and Nature Reserve De Zanding. Amidst beautiful nature reserves like the Planken Wambuis, just 1500m from The Hoge Veluwe National Park with the Kröller-Muller Museum and surrounded by attractive recreational facilities like Burgers Zoo, the Apenheul, Ouwehands Dierenpark and the Dutch Open Air Museum. For the children: a nice petting zoo and playground. Every morning the children can help feed the animals, then the possibility of a ride on the horse. Possibility to become a real help farmer and fun scavenger hunts from the park.
