Our cottage is the former bread oven of our former farmhouse. Downstairs there is a nice kitchenette and a very cozy wood stove. The shower is located in the living area just next to the wood stove (nice and warm!). The second floor is accessed via a tilting ladder (homemade), there you will find a double bed. The toilet is uniquely installed in the original hearth of the bread oven and you have to go outside for that. The cottage has a private garden to ensure your privacy. Cozy morning breakfast under the fig tree!
Nature and surroundings
Our B&B is centrally located in the department "La Manche" in the village of Gathemo. A green and quiet environment in Normandy. Absolute silence and tranquility are guaranteed here! All you can hear here are the birds, our animals and the babbling brook running through our grounds.We are also an ideal starting point for walks along hollow roads and to visit various tourist highlights, such as Mont-Saint-Michel, the D-day landing beaches, Lac de la Dathée, the waterfalls of Mortain, Granville, Cancale, Saint-Malo, the Cotentin, the Channel Islands, ... Breakfast and evening dinner can be provided if desired. Breakfast is delivered to your home in a basket. Evening dinner is provided in the main house with a table d'hôtes formula.
