Our cottage is the former bread oven of our former farmhouse. Downstairs there is a nice kitchenette and a very cozy wood stove. The shower is located in the living area just next to the wood stove (nice and warm!). The second floor is accessed via a tilting ladder (homemade), there you will find a double bed. The toilet is uniquely installed in the original hearth of the bread oven and you have to go outside for that. The cottage has a private garden to ensure your privacy. Nature, peace & environment:We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful nature house. Fifteen years ago it was a ruin in a messy farmyard, now it is a fine cottage in a beautiful garden. The hedge around the cottage gives enough shielding that you sit completely private on the terrace and still can look at the surroundings. And inside everything is cozy and practical. Fine douce and nice wood stove where you can even cook. And we have slept well in the wide bed. Gathemo is located in a beautiful area a hilly landscape with byzondere yard fences and small streams. And we were hospitable and received many tourist tips that we used.
We hebben een heerlijk aantal dagen gehad in dit prachtige natuurhuisje. Vijftien jaar geleden was het een bouwval op een rommilig boerenerf, nu is het een fijn huisje in een mooie tuin.
