Nature house in Pian di Cava

Here is my romantic house among woods and olive groves! It is 4 km from the town of Castelnuovo di Val di Cecina, but from the windows of the house it seems almost as if time has stopped in the Middle Ages. Ideal place to alternate days of rest with visits to cities such as Florence, Siena, Casole D'Elsa, Volterra and San Gimignano or the beautiful sea of central Tuscany. More or less everything can be reached within an hour's drive. If you don't feel like driving you can go for walks, trekking by bike or on foot, or explore the wonderful little places and villages in the surrounding area. Twenty minutes from Pian di Cava there are two beautiful riding stables. If you can, choose to visit Tuscany in the Fall and Spring!!! The Air is sweeter, the landscapes truly breathtaking and the places are less crowded.

In the woods below the house runs the wild Peacock Stream, which provides refreshing baths in warm weather and adventurous treks along its course! Surrounding the cottage are woods and fields with olive groves. Early mornings and evenings happen to see deer and fallow deer grazing in front of the kitchen .10 km from Pian di Cava are the geothermal phenomena of Larderello, Monterotondo Marittimo and Sasso Pisano. A large area has been equipped for a loop trail to explore the natural phenomena of boiling steam puffs. At Sasso Pisano (where a fun thermal pool for children is also open in summer) are the archaeological remains of Etruscan baths that used the boiling water that still flows nearby in a steaming stream.
