Nature house in troischamps

This nature house is an old, stripped and renovated intermediate farmhouse, renovated to a contemporary level after 14 years of work to make it very pleasant to live there for people who love a very quiet life, close to nature. Troischamps is a small village with about 50 inhabitants. The baker comes every 2 days, in Hortes at 6km there is a small supermarket, but in Langres (about 18 km on a beautiful wide road) there are all the big stores: aldi, lidl, champion, carrefour, leclerq ... All the necessities are there, so you only have to pack and unpack your suitcase to have a holiday à l'aise. The TV in the large living room is only equipped for DVDs, in the old house there is satteliet of tv vlaanderen, if you 4G aanligt you have internet. From the house you can explore the wooded and green environment by oldtimer, motorcycle, electric bicycle or walking.

The name says it all, a bit of the Ardennes combined with the foothills of the Champagne region. Langres is 1 of the 50 most beautiful towns in France, and the only one with intact fortifications. The region is green, rolling and restful, you can still spot a bird of prey or the occasional roe deer with some luck. This used to be an economic region because of its location and the road connecting it to Rome, the road to Compostella also passes here (hence the oratory, which is to the left under the entrance stairs - I used to mistakenly think it was a feeding well for animals). For water sports enthusiasts, you have the 4 large lakes nearby, where on Lac de Liez a large water jumping castle is placed during the summer vacations, there is a beautiful and free beach. In the summer you will also find the vide greniers and the thrift stores are super, they are open on Sundays (Norges la ville is great and located on an old army base, people who like antique furniture -trailer provided).
