This nature house is suitable for 2 to 5 people. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen (with 5-burner stove, oven, fridge freezer), a dining/living room with wood stove and a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet. The layout bedrooms, room 1: double bed (1.40-1.90m) and room 2: two single beds (0.80-2.00m). The single beds can also be made into a double bed (1.60-2.00m). Third bed (0.90-2.00m). Bed linen can be provided. Comforters, pillows, blankets and tea and kitchen towels are plentiful. Please bring your own bath towels. A washing machine is available. There is 4G coverage. The dining room doors open onto the terrace. You can sit in several places around the house. Views over the valley and the mountains. Breakfast and/or dinner can be ordered from me. I prefer to cook vegetarian, this with local products and from my own vegetable garden. You get it served in the gite or on the terrace.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is part of a large former farmhouse built in 1840 called Les Granges. The farm and its barns form a small hamlet surrounded by meadows and mountains. Our hamlet consists of three households, one of which is the cottage. However, there are no other vacation tenants during your stay. The garden surrounding the gîte is private to the gîte. Les Granges is located on the outskirts of Bouvières, a small village in the Drôme and is situated 500 m from the village, on a cul-de-sac used only by a few walkers or the neighbor who needs to go to a pasture behind. It has unobstructed views all around, with the Pre-Alps visible in the distance. The colorful lavender and sunflower fields, the mountain streams and the spectacular gorges make this region so special. Except for hikers, the area around Bouvières is also very suitable for cyclists who want to make day trips and of course, the Mont Ventoux 45km away.
