Nature house in Blitterswijck

Relax in our cozy, renovated, completely detached, wooden cottage with large woodland garden. Along the Oude Maasmond, you will find several nature houses on a former, small-scale park. Wake up to the singing of the birds, a place to unwind. Our spacious, renovated cottage for 8 people is right on the edge of the forest. Only 5 minutes from the village of Wanssum and 10 minutes from Venray and Arcen. It is cozy furnished, with lots of wood for a natural atmosphere. Equipped with a (new) modern kitchen with natural stone top, large fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher, sitting area, TV, WiFi, patio doors to partly covered private terrace, toilet, bathroom with bath, two bedrooms with box spring double bed and bunk beds on the ground floor. Upstairs one bedroom with box-spring single beds that can be pushed together, a master bedroom with box-spring king-size bed, bathroom with shower and toilet, and loft.

Adjacent to the park are Bosgebied de Hooge Heide and Maaspark Ooijen-Wanssum. The Maaspark is an area newly designed in 2020 with gullies and depressions in numerous places. These ensure a better flow of the Meuse at high water. A beautiful area for birdwatchers. Within 10 minutes driving distance you are at Landgoed de Hamert which is part of National Park the Maasduinen. This spacious varied forest, interspersed with river dunes, moors and fens has many hiking and cycling trails. There is much more natural beauty to admire in the immediate vicinity: Bosserheide, Rode Hoek, Landgoed en kasteeltuinen Arcen, you name it. It is the perfect base for those who enjoy hiking and cycling. Blitterswijck and the surrounding Maas villages such as Arcen, Broekhuizen, Lottum, Lomm, Broekhuizenvorst, Ooijen, Meerlo and Wanssum offer many facilities for everyone. There are nice restaurants and terraces overlooking the Meuse.
