This nature house is a semi-detached house, with lots of privacy and very stylish furnishings. The cottage is estimated to have been built around 1680 as part of the then orangery. You will find all modern comforts and a wood stove. You enter the hall with toilet and walk straight into the sitting room with conformable sofa and armchairs, a wood stove and a smart TV. Adjacent are doors to a terrace Through an arch you walk into the kitchen with dining table and chairs, which is fully equipped and is located in the middle of the house. Next to it is the bathroom, equipped with shower, toilet and a washing machine. The bedroom with a double bed is located next to it. If you go up the stairs in the kitchen you will come to a walk-through room with a bed and next to it a bedroom with two beds. In total there are five beds. From the house you have a beautiful view of the King's House and overlooks the generous landscaped garden. It is worth taking a stroll past the historic orchard.
Nature and surroundings
The remarkable thing is, the estate is still complete. The estate first appears in the archives around 1431. For example, there is the old "sea dyke" from 1830 that runs around the original estate. The surroundings are beautiful: with wonderful hiking and biking trails. Our neighbors, the Colckhof estate of Natuurmonumenten, also have wonderful hiking trails. As well as the nature reserves Sallandse Heuvelrug, the Vecht valley and the IJssel valley. Visit the Hanseatic cities: Zwolle (12 km), Deventer (30 km) or Kampen (30 km). Or the tourist town of Dalfsen (13 km) and Hattem (15 km). In Heino (6 km) is castle het Nijenhuis with museum the Fundatie. In short, with a combination of nature and culture, there is plenty to experience from this nature house.
