La Charnière is in Chadalais, part of the commune of Maisonnais-sur-Tardoire in the Parc Natural Regional Perigord- Limousin and on the route of Richard the Lionheart. We offer a peaceful and calm retreat whatever your reason for staying. Chadalais is a delightful little hamlet, being surrounded by typical French countryside and is a great base from which to explore the Limousin and the wildlife we have in this beautiful area of France. The area offers well-maintained routes with minimal traffic that pass through chestnut forests, farmland and pretty villages. We hold the tourist label Randonnée 87 for hiking, VTT and cycling, with many routes in our locality, and the ability to provide dedicated services to guests. Whilst rural, we are on the border of the Haute Vienne (87), Charente (16) and Dordogne (24) and have excellent accessibility to many small villages and larger towns for their amenities and attractions.
