Nature house in Tuklaty

This nature house is a practically furnished one-room apartment with kitchenette and bathroom. Suitable for couples or families with two children. The size of the apartment is about 40 m2. Facilities of this nature house are practical: double bed, fold-out sofa, armchairs and TV/DVD, dining area, kitchenette with two-burner stove, refrigerator and microwave, bathroom with toilet and shower. It is located in the attic of the barn and accessible by a steep staircase. The stairwell is secured with a children's gate. The backyard can be used for private recreation (garden furniture, barbecue). Our guests can pick seasonal vegetables and fruits from the vegetable garden for their own use. Parking next to the barn. The garden is inhabited by 2 friendly dogs and two cats. Therefore, pets are not welcome. Tuklaty is a small village 20 km east of Prague with a 30 min train connection to the historic city center (2-4x/hour - station in village about 1 km from the house).

This nature cottage is located on the outskirts of the village overlooking the fields and in the distance the following villages. It is a great starting point for bicycle tours, with the landscape to the north (towards the Elbe River) being fairly flat, and to the south, on the other side of road No. 12, suddenly somewhat hilly. We are on the "apple bike trail," a well-marked route among apple orchards that begin just east of Tuklaty. In the neighboring village of Břežany II, strawberries, raspberries and other berries are grown, which, once ripe, are sold on a self-picking method, i.e. go into the field yourself, pick them, have them weighed and checkout. So if the stay falls in the right period, this is a fun and tasty activity. For a morning or evening walk, the surroundings offer a nice opportunity with the possible goal of a spring in neighboring Tlustovousy, where it is pleasant to stay. Tuklaty itself has a small baroque castle, a bell tower and a small church.
