Simply enjoy surrounded by art in our art studio with large terrace and garden with veranda. This artistic residence is suitable for 4 persons. 't Atelier has a large bedroom with French doors and a comfortable double box spring (1.60m) and in the small bedroom we have a small double bed (1.40m) on a painter's cupboard. The bathroom has a rain shower and toilet. In the studio space with kitchen, dining and sitting area is nice to stay with a beautiful view of a nature reserve with spoonbills, goose families and meadow birds. From the terrace you can step straight into the lovely warm water of your own wood-fired hot tub. For a completely private wellness stay, you can also book the barrel sauna. The everyday worries slip right off your shoulders and the rat race of everyday life is suddenly miles away. Nature and surroundings
Be surprised by the very varied landscape in the Kop van Noord-Holland with its colorful bulb fields, wide views, beautiful skies, tight polder roads with many windmills, but also in the vicinity of the dunes, the beach and nature reserve Het Zwanenwater with forest, marsh and large dune lakes. An extensive walking and cycling network with something for everyone and in every season there is plenty to experience. Less than 500 meters from our Gasterij is the Westfriese Omringdijk with a total length of 126 kilometers. This 800-year-old dike winds along the vast landscape with its unique views, the typical ribbon villages with cheese-cover farmhouses and connects the historic cities of Alkmaar, Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik with their beautiful city centers. A large part of the Omringdijk still forms the border between land and water, elsewhere the dike runs straight through the land between polders and reclaimed land as a monument to centuries of struggle against the water.
