But there are also excursions in the surrounding area: Werra spring, Schwarza spring, reservoir, museum of glass art in Lauscha, fairy grottoes in Saalfeld, Morassina grotto in Schmiedefeld, Greifenstein Castle, marine aquarium in Zella-Mehlis.
