Nature house in Baarn

At the edge of the village of Baarn, directly adjacent to the Baarn Forest (80 hectares) and the gardens of Castle Groeneveld (130 hectares) is the nature house. The beautiful detached cottage of 50 m2, thoroughly renovated in 2019, is located in a large garden and is fully equipped. The layout of the nature house: a sitting/dining room on the ground floor and slightly higher a room with well-equipped kitchen, the bathroom and stairs to the master bedroom. For discussion, is the use of multiple sleeping places. The roof floor - accessible by a (steep) wooden staircase - can possibly be pulled into the living area. Here there is a second bedroom with a double bed. There is also a sofa bed. Through the garden doors you enter our beautiful garden, with a large lawn, of which an area of 400 m2, can be freely used by guests. You will also relax outside, especially on the covered veranda belonging to the cottage.

ENVIRONMENT: The nature house is located on the edge of an eldorado of cycling and walking routes, on the northern border of the Utrecht Hill Ridge. Our garden (2500) borders on 3 sides directly on the vast Baarnse Bos. At 400 meters distance is Hoeve Ravenstein, a beautifully maintained farm with an excellent farm store with organic regional products, a farm café, a picking garden, a cowshed etc. 500 meters from the lodge is Kasteel Groeneveld, a special historic country estate. Here you are embraced by ancient forests and green meadows. Small-scale concerts, educational programs, treasure hunts and exhibitions are organized in and near the castle itself. For guests who love absolute quiet, really in the middle of nature, our nature house is less suitable. The provincial road is about 100 meters away, but at times audible. On the same provincial road is at 1 1/2 kilometer Soestdijk Palace.
