Our detached energy-neutral luxury cottage is located in the countryside in the middle of the best preserved part of the New Dutch Waterline. On the ground floor of this nature house is the Onderhuys. This is an authentic house for 4 persons with 2 bedrooms of 110m2. The living room is equipped with sitting and dining area, open kitchen and television. From here there is a passage to the veranda (20 m2) with wood stove, private garden and a barrel sauna. In the open kitchen you will find a dishwasher, microwave, induction stove (6 burners) and a refrigerator with freezer. The luxurious bathroom has a freestanding bathtub, freestanding washbasin, shower and toilet. In the hall is a toilet. In the indoor storage room is a washer and dryer for your own use.The bedrooms are each equipped with one double box spring bed There is private parking for 2 cars.

Peace and nature on the Island of Schalkwijk. Take long walks on the adjacent wooden shoe paths. You will pass the Drowned Forest, eat cherries in the cozy Cherry Garden or eat and drink at Pand Pannekoek, Jonkheer de Ram, fort WKU or at Haje. Take a bike ride (our municipality has already been voted cycling city twice) or rent a whisper boat and enjoy nature on and around the Dutch Waterline.
