The b&b is a part of the forge, where artisanal ironwork is still manufactured. The beds are made for you on arrival. There is plenty of kitchen and bed linen available. Your pet is welcome, please keep it on a leash in the yard. Because we want to keep the house tidy, your pet is not allowed on the bed or sofa. The price does not include breakfast. You can reserve breakfast for 15,00 euro p.p.. The cottage is rural, good for walking and cycling. Looking for a fun activity? Book with us, during your stay, a forging workshop to experience this craft. The workshop takes about 3.5 hours, during which you will work with the blacksmith himself. A drink and a snack will be served during the workshop. Costs are: 50 euros per pp. This can be paid on the spot with us. For sauna use we charge 15 euros per time.
Nature and surroundings
Zeeland is part of the municipality of Maashorst and is right next to the Maashorst nature reserve, where with a little luck you can see the European bison grazing. Your dog is welcome in the Maashorst, provided it is on a leash. There are many walking and cycling routes in the area. The Smidse is located at a bicycle junction. In The Trent Woods, opposite the house you can walk with your pet. Also if you want to cycle towards the land of Ravenstein you will pass through a beautiful nature reserve with large grazers. At a distance of 5 kilometers you can swim in "De Kuilen" originally a sand quarry located in Langenboom,
