Sober luxury; to delicious accommodation converted horse stable that formerly served as "weinhûs", in the open Frisian landscape, enjoy underfloor heating, a huge and super nice bed, delicious hot rain shower, boiling hot water from the quooker tap while overlooking the green plains with lapwing, godwit and harrier. A matching meadow with a few curious sheep, downed trees and a feral vegetable garden. A fantastic view from the terrace or through the eight-meter-wide dormer upstairs. Through the front door you enter the hall with access to the toilet, the stairs upstairs and the large door leading to the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The upper floor is one large room with beds for 4 people. From the terrace doors you enter the terrace with a large table, large BBQ and wooden lounge chairs. Or, relax there in the warm evening sun!
Nature and surroundings
Mantgum is a beautiful village and also has a train station and an extensive supermarket. Mantgum station is exactly 1 km from the house and a train goes several times an hour both towards Leeuwarden and Sneek. The space is entirely for guests, respecting the access across the farmyard.Pastures with cattle or long grass must be respected. Dogs are not allowed to run loose here, this can only be done in the yard belonging to the house if the dog/boss can be trusted in this.
