A cozy and spacious vacation home, fully equipped. The living room and open kitchen immediately adjacent to the terrace with beautiful views of the green hills. It has 2 private parking spaces. The nature house has 3 floors with on the ground floor living room, kitchen, hallway, small storage room and a toilet, on the 1st floor 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 1st bedroom has a view of the garden and the hills. The 2nd bedroom has a bathroom connected with both shower and bathtub, the other bathroom with shower is on the corridor of the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor is the 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds. On the spacious terrace, which is fully facing south, it is lovely to stay. There is access to the garden with a playing field and fruit trees, the end of the meadow borders one of the fantastic hiking trails and the river Geul. In short, a place to unwind and enjoy nature!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the village of Schoonbron. Old maps mention the place as Schonboren (1840) and Schoonborn (1866 and 1924). The name probably derives from the pure spring that originated here. This spring runs in the direction of the Geul. The cottage is close to the foot of the well-known Keutenberg, the steepest mountain in the Netherlands and also has a view of the Sousberg. It is an ideal environment for cyclists, mountain bikers, recreational cyclists and hikers. Schoonbron is located (on the main road) between Gulpen and Valkenburg, where there are plenty of places of interest and cozy places to eat and drink. The whole area has beautiful natural sites, cultural attractions and beautiful cities to visit.
