You stay close to the IJsselmeerdijk. In clear weather you can see sail after sail passing by from the yard in the tell: especially three-masters and four-masters are an impressive sight. In spring you can see the brilliantly colored tulip fields in the immediate vicinity of the farm. From April to November, from your cottage you have a view of the family's own cows. In the evenings and mornings you can hear the soothing sounds of cattle and meadow birds.
Nature and surroundings
Not far from the farm is Andijk, a real West Frisian village with ribbon development. The Reformed church is worth a visit, as is the Polder Museum located directly on the Westfriese Omringdijk. On the dike is a beautiful bicycle and walking path to Enkhuizen. This picturesque and cozy town is 2 kilometers away from Hotelhuisjes Andijk and is well worth a visit with its Zuiderzee Museum and Outdoor Museum.
