Enjoying the wonderful country life as a couple? Or spend a few days on your own in a spacious cottage? With farm animals like sheep and sweet outdoor cats around you and a view of an old standard orchard and vegetable garden.... In the generously sized detached part of the cottage you can cook and relax comfortably in the armchairs. Or spin an album! Here you will also find patio furniture to fully enjoy the outdoors. In the also large sleeping area are two fine single boxsprings 90x200 cm without footboard. In this room there is a double sofa and a table with two chairs. The recently nicely retro furnished bathroom (outside next to the sleeping area) has a fine shower and floor heating. If desired, you can book linen separately. Nature and surroundings
You stay in the countryside, in river area, at the bottom of the Lekdijk. The picturesque Wijk bij Duurstede is the nearest town. It has a rich history and a beautiful historic center, pleasant shopping streets, a Viking ship in the harbor and attractive restaurants. Over the dike you cycle to it in no time. During your stay in our nature house you can enjoy sitting under the fruit trees of the standard orchard. You will experience the seasons here to the fullest. On the site you can - of course for free - park your car. You can enjoy cycling in the immediate vicinity. Visit the brick factory, the cheese farm nearby with its own museum and milk robot, the castle of Amerongen and Huis Doorn, the Orphanage museum in Culemborg, book a sailing trip on a Viking ship, take a beautiful walk along the Kromme Rijn, drive to the royal town of Buren and Mariënwaerdt estate, settle down at a tea garden.
