A silence area where you can have a wonderful vacation in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site the Beemster. Nature house between the bulb fields along the Beemsterringvaart with unobstructed views all around. This detached house 120 m² is at your disposal. Are you in need of rest, then you have come to the right place. You can spot meadow birds, birds of prey, sheep and hares (see photos taken here). Around the house, enjoy unobstructed views and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There is also possibility to leave your electric car on at the rate we pay KwH price. Known on arrival. (This you pay before departure).
Nature and surroundings
Since 1999, the entire Beemster reclamation area has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Beemster contains five forts as part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam. In the Golden Age, the Beemster had many estates, built by wealthy - often VOC - merchants. Thanks to its fertile soil, the Beemster also developed strongly as an agricultural area. Characteristic of the Beemster are the striking cheese-cover farmhouses with their pyramid-shaped roofs. The Beemster has various facilities, including a 9-hole golf course. At the intersection Volgerweg / Nekkerweg, the Fort on the Nekkerweg located there has been converted into a Sauna Resort. Enjoy the beautiful fields with bulbs, grain and other crops. Enjoy cycling, walking or boating on the Beemsterringvaart. Or rent a whisper boat. In short, there are many opportunities to explore the area. Loan bicycles and picnic bag are ready for you. You do not need to visit the tourist office all the leaflets and booklets are available of the whole of North Holland.
