The Nature House is located in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem on the outskirts of the village of Partij. Part of a former farmhouse has been converted into an independent vacation home with a fabulous view. The house has its own driveway and a garden on three sides all around. The ground floor of the house is barrier-free and has extra-wide doors. All beds, including the double beds, have single mattresses and comforters. Bed linen and/or towels, if you wish to use them, can be reserved at extra cost. Your stay can be contactless.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located on the ANWB Mergellandroute and on the course of the Amstel Goldrace (3 passages). Hiking in all directions starts on the field road opposite the house. Bus connection to Gulpen at 100 m. Bus connections to Maastricht, Aachen and Heerlen at 850 m. Ideal base for the Krijtlandpad and the Dutch Mountaintrail. Shopping facilities in Gulpen at 5 minutes drive. Centrally located in the Geul Valley with an unobstructed view as far as Belgium, to the Vijlenerbos and the Bovenste bos, towards Mechelen and Epen. The adjacent orchard consists of about 15 standard trees and is in a fixed walking route for badgers and other wildlife. Blackbirds, robin, wren, Dunnock, Dunnock, black redstart, crows and little owls (we have had young owls ringed for several years) nest in and around the yard. Many other species of birds can be seen and heard daily. With a 10-minute walk you are on the Geuloever(s) where beavers are active.
