This apartment is an ideal place for finding peace, nature and space. The nature house is located in the garden of a dike farm with 6000 m2 of land, on the second floor. The apartment can be reached by an outside staircase and has its own entrance. With sheep and a rabbit, fruit trees and is located on the river Waal. The one-room apartment is a nice space, well insulated and has central heating. There is a double bed and a small sitting area with two armchairs with a table. The apartment has a kitchenette, with a two-burner stove, refrigerator, kettle and coffee maker. There is a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Internet is available, no television. In the garden of the dike farm there are a number of places where you can sit outside. For children there is enough space to play in the garden and there is a shared trampoline. You can also use the natural swimming pond.
Nature and surroundings
You can make beautiful walks along the Waal and Meuse rivers in the surroundings of this nature house. There are available paths, but real strolling is also possible here. In some seasons (usually winter) the water can be higher and can be enjoyed from the dike. This region also lends itself very well to cycling and skating. Along the Meuse River are also beautiful areas for hiking. In some areas you walk past cattle, beautiful castles or manors, or just nature. Within half an hour you are by car in Den Bosch, Nijmegen and Tiel. After booking you will receive an eBOOK with 10 Nature outings in our area. In addition you will receive a website link with all kinds of activities that can be done in our area. We have a number of bicycles for rent (only for rent on the spot for 10 euros per day, no eBikes) and you can also rent a barbecue with us (5 euros each time). Apartment room 'east' is a perfect combination if you are with 3 or 4 persons.
