Our log cabin is located on our 3 acre property in Lucaswolde in the garden of Groningen, the beautiful Westerkwartier where one is constantly surprised by the changing landscape with its meadows and fields, marshes, heaths and peat ponds and wooded banks. In principle, the nature house is equipped for 2 persons, including bedding and towels, for families with children are possibly 2 beds extra. Just back to basics enjoy the beautiful surroundings and relax. We call it luxury camping, because just like on a campsite the sanitary facilities are in another building [1 minute walk], so is the kitchen in the common room. There is a pool table, pinball, shuffleboard and dartboard, a closet full of books, magazines, games and craft stuff. So here you can have a good time in the event of less beautiful weather. In the fully equipped kitchen there is a refrigerator you can use.

On the grounds is a fire pit where one can have a cozy campfire. There is plenty of space for children to build huts or jump on the trampoline, cuddle with our pony Tequila, feed chickens, collect fresh eggs themselves. From the log cabin you can make beautiful walks, our meadow has its own footpath which has been made possible by Routebureau Groningen and is included in the walking network. You can also cycle our own surprise cycling routes of various lengths. We have one ladies' and one men's bike that can be rented if necessary. Hiking trails such as Pettenpad, Melle's path, Pebe's path, Abel Tasmanpad, Kale Jonkerpad, Witte Nonnenpad, Leedaanzeggerspad and the beautiful Curringheveld are all in the immediate vicinity.There is Wifi available, but our motto is: "in the forest is no wifi but a better connection".
