Among the Livradois mountains, a stop in the welcoming town of Ambert, with its beautiful medieval and Art Nouveau heritage and its famous gastronomic specialty, namely the fourme Ambert, a delicious blue cheese. In the valley of Lagat, close to Ambert, the Richard de Bas mill is the last paper mill in Auvergne still operating.
