The cottage has an area of 12 x 6 m. It has a double cabin bed and a small room with a single (narrow) bed. The nature house has a narrow shower and toilet. The living room has a pallet stove, TV (channels Netherlands 1, 2, 3, and an HDMI connection - tip bring an HDMI cable with laptop or Chromecast to possibly stream your own movies/series), a spacious sitting area overlooking the water, a dining area, and an open kitchen with a number of amenities (senseo, microwave, electric stove, refrigerator, etc). You also have access to a private waterfront terrace with lounge sofa and chairs. Feel like biking, boating, supping or barbecuing? For an additional cost you can rent these items from us (please indicate this before your arrival).
Nature and surroundings
The cozy and basic houseboat, is located on a quiet branch of the river IJsel, near the Veluwe. Relax by the water and enjoy the beauty of nature. Wake up to the cheerful song of the swallows nesting around the arkje during the summer and spot wild boars around the corner in the Veluwe. Feel like going to town? Arnhem is easily accessible by bus, train or car from the nature house. *Please note that one may occasionally experience light noise from the railroad and/or highway.
