It's not perfect... it's Paradise at Château de la Preuille. Many centuries ago, grapes were pressed here to produce wine. Enjoy a glass of wine or a barbecue on your own terrace under the old trees. This gîte has a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace and a dining area with a large table. Ideal for families with young children, but also for a romantic getaway. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Living room with sitting area by the fireplace and a large dining table; open-plan kitchen with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, toaster and coffee-maker. Beautiful view of the castle moat. Bathroom with bath/shower and WC. Bedroom with comfortable bed (180cm x 200cm). Sofa-bed in the living room (140cm x 190cm). Children's bedroom (6m²) with bunk bed (80cm x 160cm). For 1 to 6 people.
Nature and surroundings
Surrounded by vineyards. Chateau has 8ha of land. Discover the extraordinary city of Nantes, a day at the beach or the theme park "Puy du Fou". The château is considered one of the oldest in the Loire Valley. It was once a fortified feudal dwelling, defended by a moat and towers. The château dates from the 11th century; its current form dates from the 13th and 15th centuries. The Vendée enjoys an oceanic climate, with mild temperatures. The department enjoys the highest number of hours of sunshine in France, and according to Météo France, the climate is comparable to that of the Mediterranean, hence the name 'Côte de Lumière'. It's an ideal region in which to spend a vacation or weekend.
