Beautifully located nature house overlooking the lake "The Wiel" in the Dreumel floodplains (Land of Maas and Waal). The nature house is cozy and equipped with a room with open kitchen, sofa, dining table with 4 chairs, 4 burner gas stove, fridge / freezer, cold running water (through water tank), nespresso coffee maker, kettle, plates, cutlery, pans, etc. a bedroom with a bed of 1.60 x 2.00 and a bedroom with a bunk bed with beds 1.90 x 70. The luxurious private sanitary facilities are 60 meters walking distance as well as the dishwashing area. We separate waste. Right in front of the cottage is a jetty from which you can see the beavers well at dusk. There is also patio furniture, an outdoor fireplace/b.b.q. (Wood for this costs € 20, - p. stay and can be purchased on site). There are also 2 canoes available and a rowing boat. Guests who enjoy fishing can also enjoy themselves here. You can also use a wagon to transport your luggage.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is surrounded by greenery and right on the water. A unique place in the Land of Maas and Waal. Overlooking the lake "The Wheel" and "The Vatican". "Living as God in France" we regularly hear our guests say. When one walks on the back of the plot through the wooden swing gate one is face to face with "The Vonkerplas". Around this lake you can take a walk of about 4.8 km. On one side river "De Waal" and on the other side "De Vonkerplas". There is also a piece of private forest that our guests can use. Everywhere there are seats set up so there is always a place somewhere to enjoy reading a book, bird watching, play your guitar, relax, unwind or just do nothing! The Land of Maas and Waal is ideal for cycling and walking. Enjoy all the beauty... and the many picturesque scenes. This is also a nice base to visit cities like Den Bosch, Arnhem and / or Nijmegen.
