Our cottage is a simple, cozy and spacious vacation home at the end of a cul-de-sac in the green heart of the Achterhoek. A paradise if you like peace and quiet. There is no traffic passing by, only the occasional tractor. The cottage is comfortable and fully furnished with lots of light and panoramic views. Chances are that you see deer, hares and rabbits passing by and hear the golden oriole. Our cottage is located between Doetinchem and Zelhem (both 3 km.) It has a spacious living / bedroom (over 26 m2), kitchen, hallway with storage space and bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. Outside you have a private terrace that turns into the meadow. NEW is the private garden especially for guests with beautiful views over the scenic landscape! There are both sitting and deck chairs and of course a parasol. Any bicycles can be placed in the barn. The cottage is suitable for 1 or 2 persons. There is a cozy double bed in which our guests are very satisfied.
Nature and surroundings
We think the Achterhoek is one of the most beautiful regions in the Netherlands. A beautiful scenic landscape with many old, stately deciduous trees and winding roads. It is a wonderful area for cycling or walking. The people here are friendly and relaxed. The pace is considerably slower than in the west of the country. In short, it's good to be here!
