Our nature house is delightfully quietly located at the highest (and perhaps most beautiful) point in the middle of the forest of a former vacation park in Blitterswijck. The cottage stands detached on a plot of approximately 1 hectare, is ground floor, furnished for 4 people and has 3 bedrooms. You reach the cottage via a private staircase and emerge onto the front terrace, a larger terrace with garden furniture and picnic bench is located to the side. The cottage has a separate toilet room and a bathroom with shower equipped with rain shower and thermostatic faucet. The bedrooms are equipped with box spring beds with in the master bedroom 2 beds loosely together with mattress topper for extra sleeping comfort. This room also has two generous linen closets and an extra TV. The comfortable living room offers a generous view of nature through the large windows. The kitchen is equipped, among other things, with a gas hob, dishwasher and microwave, Fast Internet is available free of charge.

Blitterswijck is part of the municipality of Venray and is located near the left bank of the Meuse River. Following two major floods of this river, the province of Limburg initiated a water protection program that led to the realization of the Maaspark Ooijen-Wanssum nature reserve. The area is freely accessible and has about 30 kilometers of hiking trails and 13 kilometers of bicycle paths. The nature house is directly adjacent to this new nature reserve so you can start a beautiful walk or bike ride from home. Moreover, at the end of the path in front of the nature house you can walk straight into the woods of Hooge Heide. The bicycle paths in the woods and nature reserve are connected to the 40 kilometer long bicycle route network North Limburg. Via one of these routes you can for example cross the river Maas with one of the foot/cycle ferries and visit Arcen or National Park the Maasduinen with the Reindersmeer or on the other side the water sports area Het Leukermeer.
