This villa (stone cottage) is located next to the Bistrica river in the region of Gorski Kotar. River was named based on its crystal clear water. Once upon a time, this object was a mill house. This old mill was ruined more than 70 years ago and was abandoned all up till 2009 when the renovation started. Unique geolocation, with river on it's left side, one of the Bistrica river springs (including small lake) in front of the cottage and the Zala cave on it's right side gives sort of feeling from the fairy tail. The nature house is built as an open space concept. Therefore, at the ground floor there is a kitchen, dining space, bathroom and living space where sofa for two person is located. On the upper floor is sleeping area (double bed 160x200cm and single bed 80x200cm) with balcony. In front of the house is the terrace with river and waterfall view and in the back of the house the hot tub for 6 persons. Taking bath in the hot tub at 37-42C and then in the river at 11-14C is unique experience.

Taking into account unique and endangered eco system, renovation of cottage was carried out with special attention. Every guest can feel it's balance with nature with just a touch of nowadays standards. On the spot there is unique flora and fauna as the symbol of clean nature (like otter, beaver, fishes, dragonfly butterfly etc.). In the Zala cave in 1977. it was discovered unique and endemic Ogulin's sponge (Eunapius subterraneus), the one and only underground freshwater sponge in the world. This cave represents also one of the oldest sites of stone age artifacts in the region. Due to researches, it's still closed for public but in front of the cave is a nice rockery and meadow where is possible to enjoy at refreshing temperature even during hot summer days.
