Our modern spacious houseboat is located in the heart of the unspoiled wetlands of Waterland just minutes north of Amsterdam in an area known for its picturesque villages, romantic wooden houses, beautiful waterways and lakes. From our houseboat and private garden at the back you have an uninterrupted view over the meadows or you can watch the boats go by from the deck at the front. This nature house is not just any accommodation and it shows. It is also our own home when we want to escape the hectic city life ourselves. It is clean, stylish, well designed and yet personal with great attention to detail. This also means that we are not the cheapest accommodation. Our basic rate is €200 per day + €25 per person per day + €50 for cleaning for a minimum stay of three nights. Tourist tax is €3,45 p.p. per night.
Nature and surroundings
Our houseboat is a real refuge. Getting there requires an unforgettable last jump. Upon arrival, park your car along the canal opposite our mooring (free parking available) and cross the canal on our own private ferry that you operate yourself. This way you leave the world behind and enjoy ultimate privacy. A bright, contemporary interior with three large separate bedrooms on the lower deck (each with a double bed) comfortably accommodate up to six people. A fully equipped kitchen, designer furniture and a large bathroom with double shower and bathtub make it a rare luxury hideaway. It has the best of both worlds. It's the perfect base for biking, canoeing, swimming and fishing, but also just a 15-minute drive from downtown Amsterdam for urban exploration. Or take a boating trip in the area, see the romantic villages by boat and enjoy bird life in the wetlands.
