Veld en Bosch is a beautiful and very quiet estate adjacent to Den Treek Estate. This vast area of forests, nature, agriculture and heathland covers almost 2200 hectares and borders five municipalities: Amersfoort, Leusden, Woudenberg, Utrechtse Heuvelrug and Zeist. Den Treek estate is the largest family estate in the Netherlands. Willem Hendrik de Beaufort bought the Den Treek country estate with surrounding woods and lands in 1807. Here he founded the estate as a forestry company. The country estate was his residence. On this estate you will find hiking trails, mountain bike routes and very well maintained bridle paths. The cozy center of Amersfoort is just 4 km from the nature house. Veld en Bosch has a swimming pool and some very luxurious nature houses.
