In a beautiful ecological garden in the village GROET stands the nature house. The village of Groet has cozy restaurants and a supermarket and bike rental. Within 100 meters you walk into Nature Park the School Dunes with many hiking and biking trails. Also, the highest dune in the Netherlands is close by. Camperduin is 1.5 to 2 km away and has the most beautiful beach in the Netherlands and is still quiet. At the beach is also an indoor lake (laguna) where children can play. De Putten nature reserve with a seagull colony is 2.2 km away. The nearby extensive bulb fields with tulips, crocuses and daffodils are in bloom in the spring.
