The hiking trails of the Rota Vicentina can be started directly from here. The larger beaches of Aljezur and Odeceixe are 15 minutes away by car. There are also nice restaurants and terraces, a supermarket, petrol station, ATM and a daily fresh market with vegetables and fresh fish. The municipality of Aljezur is located at the foot of the Monchique mountains in a beautiful green area, where you can find peace and quiet and make wonderful nature walks. The beautiful beaches with wild waves offer plenty of surfing opportunities. The town of Aljezur is 7 km away where it is fun walking through the narrow and steep streets in the old village, from where you have beautiful views. Aljezur offers several traditional restaurants where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. There are also numerous small cafes with terraces. There are 4 supermarkets in the village, several banks, post office and a variety of stores. Daily fresh market (Mercado Municipal)
