Located in the hidden gem nature reserve Stippelberg, the largest forest complex in North Brabant, is our farmhouse of nearly 100 years old in the village of De Rips. Our B & B is located on hiking and cycling node routes and is therefore an excellent base for beautiful forest walks, cycling and MTB tours, horseback riding, golfing and motorcycling. We have three double bedrooms on the second floor with private bathroom in country style. We also have a cozy guest room where we serve breakfast with bar, wood stove, TV and free WiFi on the ground floor. In fine weather you can enjoy our garden with veranda, pool house, outdoor plumbing, sun terrace, boules court. At extra cost and on reservation: infrared sauna, BBQ, hot tub and massage. Our yard offers views over the countryside. Enjoy the varied landscape: forest, heath, fens and experience the peace and quiet. NB: Dogs are not allowed and also no children under 12 years (but baby).
Nature and surroundings
Our Bed & Breakfast is an excellent base for relaxing, sporting and cultural activities. Our farm is located on the edge of the largest contiguous forest complex in North Brabant, called Stippelberg. Our farmhouse is surrounded by farmlands and agricultural area. You walk from our B&B towards the forest edge and connect to the blue walking route Landgoed Stippelberg of Natuurmonumenten. In the vicinity are many beautiful hiking, cycling, MTB and equestrian routes in the adjacent forests available. Our B & B is also on cycling and hiking junction routes and near the Hertogenpad, the Long Distance Walk (LAW 13) route, which runs between Breda and Roermond. Nearby is also Golf Course Stippelberg, Nature Park Nederheide with its beach and fish pond Wethouder Slits. Furthermore, nature gates de Heksenboom and de Peel are worth visiting. In our hinterland lies the Land of Cuijk, the Maasduinen, Maasheggen, Maashorst, the Maasdal and Rijk van Nijmegen.
