In the Kop van Noord-Holland close to the beach and the dunes but still with rural views lies the nature house. The NS-station is 2.5km away and in the village are all the necessary stores. You can look out here endlessly, cycling and walking. Four persons can stay in apartment The Cockpit: there is a second apartment called The Coach House (three persons). Both have a private entrance. Free internet. In summer the swimming pool (5x8m) is open: it will be completely renewed at the end of 2022! There is playing space for children: trampoline, swings, climbing frame and go-karts in the spacious garden where garden furniture and a BBQ are also available. In the summer only bookable per week from weekend to weekend. The Cockpit was renovated in February 2024: painted, the floor has been replaced and a new kitchen has been installed with all amenities (combi microwave/oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer and induction hob).
Nature and surroundings
The beach is about 8km, on the coast of Callantsoog and Groote Keeten. 12km from the boat to Texel, part of the Wadden Islands. Het Zwanenwater is a silence area of Natuurmonumenten and is ~7km cycling distance. A paradise for birds and nature lovers. In spring the flower bulb fields are in rich bloom and can be admired from your seat. Water and water sports such as Amstelmeer, IJsselmeer, Wadden Sea and North Sea are all close by. As well as nice places like Schagen, Alkmaar, Hoorn and Medemblik. Unique place in a rural, quiet environment. You can use the barbeque in the garden or eat at various restaurants in the area: home delivery is of course also an option. Everything for a wonderful relaxing vacation!
