Nature house in Journy
Hauts-de-France, France
- 6 persons
- 3 bedrooms
- Pets allowed
The nature house was built against a hill in the late 19th century and is located at 180 m. The backyard of over 2000 m2 faces southwest and is adjacent to a forest meadow where deer, pheasants, partridges and hares dwell. From the terraces with furniture at different heights, you overlook both the garden or the orchard and the hills of the Boulonnais. At the front you enter on the 1st floor where you find the bathroom and 2 bedrooms (2023: new shutters, window frames, double glazing). On the 2nd floor is the 3rd bedroom (40 m2) with 2nd bathroom. The living-dining room-kitchen (50 m2) is not visible from the road making it very quiet. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and appliances to enjoy cooking. In the living room you can find something to read from the bookcases by the monumental fireplace, listen to a CD or nostalgically enjoy the collection of DVDs. There are board games and indoor and outdoor toys. More information? Feel free to contact.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is a few minutes' walk from a 3000-hectare ancient beech forest in the interior of the Parc Naturel Régional des Caps et Marais d'Opale where you can enjoy the space and tranquility of the northern French countryside with hushed villages, rolling green hills and clean air. An ideal walking and cycling area with marked trails and half an hour's drive from the beaches of Wimereux and Blériot Plage. Northern France has more interesting museums after Paris than any other region of France, such as Louvre Lens, La Piscine Roubaix, LAAC Dunkerque and the museums of Lille. Boulogne-sur-Mer is home to Europe's largest sea aquarium, Nausicaá. Along the promenade of Calais is a free playground, closer in Tournehem is a nature playground for young children. Just 25 km from TGV station Calais-Fréthun from where you can reach Paris in 2 hours. In short, a region worth discovering, less than 4 hours from the Randstad.
