Welden is a borough of Oudenaarde, a historically rich city nestled on the Scheldt River and surrounded by the hills of the Flemish Ardennes. Those interested in history can visit the archaeological museum in Velzeke and the green village of Ename with its museum and archaeological park with ruins of an old abbey. In and around Welden you can enjoy several hiking and cycling routes. You will stay in part of a renovated farmhouse that has retained its authentic character.
