With two cozy apartments where you feel right at home, with a private garden, free WiFi and ample parking. In each apartment a lovely large double bed and a sofa bed in the living room for 1 person. So up to 6 persons we are happy to welcome you! An Oasis of Rest and Comfort: Our two apartments, Pollie and Saartje, have a cozy sitting area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a coffee bean machine, a private bathroom with luxurious bathrobes, wonderful luxury showers and even a bathtub! Then, on nice evenings, you can enjoy a lovely nigh You sleep in the fully renovated old barn where the old beams are still visible, overlooking the farmlands.We can also provide a vegetarian 3 course surprise menu in the room. Nature and surroundings
Near the Wadden Sea enjoy the vastness that Friesland has to offer. Furthermore, we are only 20 minutes away from Lauwersoog and of course close to Holwerd where the boat to Ameland departs. Holwerd is called Holwert in Frisian with a -t at the end. The village lies northwest of Dokkum, almost against the Wadden Sea and is the departure point of the ferry to Ameland. There are also many mudflat walks to the island from Holwerd. The Holwerterpolder is part of the largest remaining salt marsh area in Europe, called Noard-Fryslân Bûtendyks, which attracts numerous birds for their food supply. From the bird-watching cabin called 'Kees Weverswadpost' you can observe these birds beautifully without disturbing their peace and quiet.
