Nature house in Terschelling

On the middle island in the Wadden Sea, there is a house with a wonderful view. The B&B on Terschelling is a place where everyone can unwind, surrounded by nature and village feeling. From the living loft you overlook the dike and sometimes the shore can be seen there. Get on your bike, explore the woods and dunes and experience the surf, where the sea meets the beach. Visit the villages, large and small, where people know each other and neighbors are more than neighbors. Take part in adventurous activities, wonderful walks or covered wagon rides. Around dinner time, visit the many restaurants, located all over the island. But above all, feel free to unwind, with us. All rooms have a luxurious, private bathroom and box-spring beds. Terschelling is known for its beautiful and especially varied nature and natural areas. The nature reserves of Terschelling are largely managed by Staatsbosbeheer. Versatile natureThe most special thing is that you will find very many different landscapes on the island. And that on less than 60 km2! So you can cycle in 15 minutes through Forest, Dune, Heath and Polder landscape. And if you get off, you can walk on the immense beach of Terschelling for a lovely walk or a cup of coffee in one of the beach pavilions.Wadden Sea Unesco World HeritageThis special piece of the world deserves special attention. The sea shows its bottom twice a day, and on such a large scale that it is UNIQUE in the world. That is why UNESCO has declared this area, which stretches from Den Helder to Esjberg in Denmark, a World Heritage Site. This is something we can be proud of! The World Heritage Site concerns the 'wet' mudflats, not the islands themselves.
